Dash Miso and Butter, it’s a no brainer really and the most delicious thing to cook an egg in. I used the residual butter to then cook up leftover roast chicken breast and to slightly wilt some Spinach leaves. This was all served as a salad with fat wedges of garlic roasted red cabbage.
Dash Miso Brown Butter
50 grams unsalted butter
1 tablespoon Dash Miso Paste
Gently warm the butter in a pan over a medium heat. Once it’s melted whisk in the Dashi Miso Paste. Keep cooking until the butter is foaming and golden.
If you want to cook an egg in the brown butter put the egg in before it starts foaming and let it cook away slowly as the butter browns.
